Linnea Dick is currently living in Victoria, BC working on her first book titled “Transformation,” which is a collection of poetry that shares both the triumphs and challenges of Linnea’s own personal experiences as an Indigenous young person.
For the past year, she’s travelled with the documentary Maker of Monsters: The Extraordinary Life of Beau Dick – a film showcasing the life of enigmatic Kwakwa’ka’wakw master carver and her later father – acting as an orator and living illustration of the impacts of his art, activism and leadership, travelling as far as Australia!
She also dedicates her time to public speaking at schools, community events and conferences, as well as facilitating workshops on intergenerational trauma, social justice, Indigenous perspectives and healing through the lens of her own personal experiences.
